The Crystal Palace Quartet has nearly twenty years experience of providing live music for events. We share our love of making music together by playing for all kinds of celebratory and/or ceremonial occasions, including exhibition openings, product launches, graduations, balls, dinners, parties, partnerships, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, workshops, etc. We provide music for radio & TV shows, feature films, video games, cruises, candlelit concerts and many other kinds of public and private events.

CPQ has played at prestigious venues throughout the country and, as individuals, the members have worked with many of the UK's most esteemed orchestras. With many years experience of providing beautiful string quartet music, we'll use our expertise to help you plan the perfect occasion.
While we usually perform as a string quartet, we also operate as a string trio or duo for smaller events. A duo or trio is suitable for venues where performance space is more limited, or if the budget can't accommodate a quartet. We also provide solo instrumentalists, and can advise what might be the most suitable for your specific circumstances.
The string quartet is the ideal size of ensemble for events ranging from a handful of attendees up to a few hundred, or any number with amplification, which we can supply as part of our service. Our string quartet repertoire is extensive, covering pieces and songs from contemporary and earlier eras, genres and traditions, including: pop, rock, jazz, standards, radio, TV, film (Hollywood, Bollywood and others), musicals, operas, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Modern, English, Scottish, Irish, Welsh, Celtic, Jewish, Hungarian, Chinese, Indian, Latin and others. We can also arrange anything you might like for the ensemble to play, given enough notice.
